I probably got far too excited about this - then like always, I was a bit disappointed. Spurs announced their 'new' club badge and official crest today, and I was checking in on the website like a spoilt child.
From the Spurs site: "Built around the Club’s core values of style, passion, unity, respect and sharing, the new Club badge has been created with the Club’s heritage at its heart whilst having a contemporary style that reflects the Club’s vision and motto of Audere est Facere (to Dare is to Do)."
Can't argue with that - especially since the first mentioned core value of Tottenham Hotspur is 'style' - isn't that exactly what we fans have been saying for years ? Anyway, the badge looks OK I suppose, but not spectacular - all we need now is to see it on a plain white shirt like the old days - with no red on it !
